Global Outreach Distribution
Global Outreach Distribution is a non-profit organization serving veterans. We offer help for veterans with local VA benefits and assessment, financial counseling, case management, life skills training, employment assessment, and resume development.

      Educational Resources:

The Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board
The Workforce Board approves programs offered at public and private educational institutions in Washington for veterans and those eligible for GI Bill education benefits.


Troop to Teachers
The goal of Troops to Teachers is to help improve American education by providing mature, motivated, experienced, and dedicated personnel for the nation`s classrooms. Pending availability of funds, financial assistance may be provided to eligible individuals in the form of a stipend up to $5,000.00 to help pay for teacher certification costs, or a bonus of $10,000.00 to teach in a "high needs" school.

Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) colleges and universities are dedicated to helping servicemembers and their families get college degrees.

National Guard Tuition Assistance
The Washington National Guard`s Education and Incentives website provides information on the eligibility requirements, application procedures and benefits for all Washington National Guard education programs.
Reserve Tuition Assistance (REAP)
This program makes certain reservists who were activated for at least 90 days after September 11, 2001 either eligible for education benefits or eligible for increased benefits.
Montgomery GI Bill - Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR)
The MGIB-SR program may be available to you if you are a member of the Selected Reserve.

Homeless Veterans Reintegration Project
HVRP is a proven, successful program that gets homeless veterans off the street and back to being productive members of society. WDVA provides HVRP-W services to Women Veterans in the Puget Sound Region of King, Pierce, Thurston, Kitsap, and Snohomish Counties. HVRP-Rural services are provided to Counties in Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, Western Montana, and Northeastern Oregon.
Veterans Independent Enterprises of Washington -VIEW
Veterans Independent Enterprises of Washington is a non-profit organization committed to helping disabled and homeless veterans by providing a variety of services. The program is funded by customers who use our services to add value to their business. Our services include work adjustment training, work therapy, job placement services, transitional employment, emergency housing, transitional housing, and independent living services.

Defenders`Fund
You may be eligible for a one-time emergency grant of up to $1000.00 if you are a current or former WA National Guard or Reservis and you served in Operation Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, or Noble Eagle and if you are experiencing financial hardships in employment, education, housing, health care or other areas due to extended deployment.
